During early summer 2018 I did cleaned up after the Sculptor had completed the majority of his work. (This skill is often needed between shots on Modelling Clay Stop Motion Animation). White Modelling clay is particularly annoying to keep spotless!

Norman PickleStripes for Universal Kids
I worked on Norman PickleStripes for six months in Manchester at Factory Create on a New Childrens series. Working with the Masters, (made from 3D printed models) through silicone moulds then trimming and seaming the masters in Silicone.

Trimming and seaming the casts, then assembling all the Puppets for the Animators. Compiling a directory, with my colleagues, so there is information available for everyone; with working notes for casting, trimming and seaming, assembling the Character puppets.

Night of the Trampires

Chuck Steel, the lead of Night of the Trampires, along with two of the main characters.
I worked on all the Clean up and Sculpting of all the main Characters and the 350 background characters.

Puppet Department
With one other main full time crew member I worked Cleaning up and Sculpting the Plasticine heads for the Animation Crew, for about 9 months. My job was to maintain Chuck. Mike Mort has very exacting standards. There are around 350 Characters with Plasticine heads. (By the end of the film about 50 Chuck heads in total).

Art Department

For the Art Department I made Props, Sets and Models. During this time I moulded and then cast small intricate detailed props from 3D prints, and painted each.
working in a wide variety of materials, many of my props were for close up shots. I also built background elements of Sets. As well as designing and laser cutting parts for background models.

I will have photographs when the film is released.

Uber Pop Video

This was a puppet I had to make in a week, at home with limited workshop resources.
The Characters were supposed to be the the style of Lee Hardcastle, a bit rough and ready.
I used Mold Making Sculpy because it looks like plasticine, can be coloured but after baking keeps it's shape.
Basic armature
Puppet Clothed (I didn't make these)
Main Character Shoe armature

Selection of trainers for the main characters in the Video.

Shaun the Sheep The Movie

I worked on two background Characters (one pictured).
Made her out fit, hair dressers gown and hair in foils.
The gown is wired so that it can be animated without boiling (moving) under camera.
