Laser Cutting

Here is a selection of my Laser cut work

Key and Coat Hooks 2016-17

Laser engraved onto recycled pallet wood. I've used a variety of wood from pallets. Hard wood oak & beech engrave well.

The more common softwood I engrave and then hand paint, like the multi coloured houses in Bristol.

This was a commissioned piece over a metre long Chrome Hooks and a shelf over the top.

Christmas Decorations & Cards

I began with a basic snowflake design. I have used it in my cards, decorations and the Harts Bakery Displays.

Hart's Bakery 'Polar Express' Christmas 2014

I was asked to do the wall display at Hart's Bakery, near to Temple Meads Station, in Bristol.

Laura Hart suggested 'Polar Express' as the theme and I suggested three images based on views from a train window.

Last year I had a couple of months to prepare, this year it was a couple of weeks, and I have a full time job. It's been hard work and I've thoroughly enjoyed it all.

Snow Storm, based on one basic Snowflake

Last years Gingerbread houses right and two house redressed
to look like Bristol houses with their petty painted fronts

Two rows of houses cut in corrugated card and decorated in
different coloured thin card. typical of Bristol homes.
I offset the colour card to make the houses a little older and not perfect!

Most are cut in a thin white corrugated card

Pop Up Shop at Windmill City Farm Bristol.

Since the beginning of the Summer I have been one of 18 Artists showing and selling their work at the Windmill City Farm in Bedminster, Bristol.

For the Christmas display I made a Christmas Tree from pallet wood so that it would act as a focus point for everyone's work.

The Christmas Tree in the 'Home Grown' Pop Up Shop
With a hole saw I drilled a
hole through the centre of
each piece of wood.
Then cut spacers to build
gaps between each
 piece of wood.

Preparing the pallet wood,
 sanding each piece.
